New licensees are the heart of the card. These owners are choosing a bank, a bookkeeper, a supply house and a truck right now, and the card opens "Welcome to the Trade, {their business name}". If a month ever has more than 500 new licensees, every one of them gets the card. Phoenix Metro Valley only for now; a Tucson edition may follow if Tucson sponsors ask.
A 6×11 jumbo postcard, built to be kept
The front greets the contractor by business name and carries six sponsors: the featured spot right under the welcome, then five regular spots. There's room for two cards, A and B, with the same design. Card A fills first. Card B mails once it has four sponsors, to the same contractors one week after card A. The back has the free Dane Directory listing offer, the DANESURE insurance panel and the address. Every business shown is a sample, not a real sponsor.
One flat monthly price per spot
These are the only prices. They are the same for every business, and no bundle or discount is ever tied to buying insurance from DANESURE or services from Dane Suite.

The first card mails as soon as 4 spots are filled
There's no fixed launch date. The first card mails as soon as 4 spots are filled; after that it mails monthly. Card B (sponsors 7–12) mails a week after Card A. Every mailing is on a Wednesday, and cards usually land 2–5 business days later.
When a card reaches 4 sponsors

- MailedCard A goes to 500 contractors (last month's new licensees + established), then again every month.
Card B

One sponsor per category, up to 12
When a category is taken, it stays taken for as long as that sponsor keeps its spot. A reserved spot is being held for someone who asked first. Insurance is not available, because DANESURE holds that category. Any other kind of legitimate business can sponsor: these are the categories contractors ask for most, and if yours isn’t here, choose “Any other business” and tell us what you do.

What's included, and what isn't
Included
- Spot artwork built from your logo and message, with one revision. You can change your message once a quarter.
- Your own tracked QR code and short link at danedirectory.com/go/your-name. It counts scans, then sends people straight to your page.
- A monthly report with cards mailed, the city and trade mix, the USPS delivery tracking rate, and your QR scans.
- A "Mailer sponsor" label on your own Dane Directory listing. It's a label only and does not boost your ranking.
Not included, and why
- Mailing addresses. We never hand them over, so nobody else can mail your card's list. You do get a private page after each mailing showing which contractors your card went to, with their free directory listing and any business contact info they publish.
- Response guarantees. Results vary by offer, category and month. We report what was mailed and what was scanned, and we don't promise or project response rates.
- Directory ranking. Listing order is never for sale, to sponsors or anyone else.
The rules every card follows
- We approve every ad. No misleading claims and no regulated claims we can't support. You are responsible for your own licensing and advertising rules, such as bar, lender or licensing-board requirements.
- Every card says "Advertisement" and "Not affiliated with or endorsed by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors or any government agency." Nothing is designed to look like a government notice.
- One sponsor per category. Insurance is held by DANESURE. Bonding and surety are available only after a conflict check.
- No bundles tied to insurance or Dane Suite. Sponsor prices never depend on buying insurance from DANESURE or services from Dane Suite, and buying them never earns a discount. Arizona's anti-rebating law, A.R.S. §20-451, is one reason.
Questions sponsors ask
Where do the addresses come from?
From the Arizona Registrar of Contractors' public license records. We run every address through USPS address verification before printing. Dane Directory is not affiliated with the ROC.
Will the same contractor get the card every month?
No. Each newly licensed business gets it once, in the month after it's licensed. Established contractors are mailed in rotation, commercial and multi-trade contractors first, and nobody gets it twice in any 12 months. When there's a card B, the same 500 contractors get it one week after card A.
Is it only the Phoenix Metro Valley?
Yes, for now. Every card goes to a business address in the Phoenix Metro Valley (Maricopa County ZIP codes). We may add a Tucson edition if Tucson sponsors ask for one.
Which card will I be on, A or B?
Card A fills first, in the order sponsors sign. Once card A's six spots are taken, new sponsors go on card B. Card B has the same design, goes to the same contractors a week later, and mails once it has four sponsors.
Can I get the list, or mail it myself?
You can see who your card went to, but you can't mail it yourself. After each mailing you get a private page with each contractor's business name, trade, city, their free Dane Directory listing, and any business phone, website or email they publish. Many brand-new businesses have none yet. We never share mailing addresses, so your category exclusivity holds. If you reach out, the rules are simple: mention the card, business lines only, no auto-dialers or cold texts, and stop when asked.
What response should I expect?
We don't know, and we won't guess. Results depend on your offer, your category and the month. You'll get real numbers every month (cards mailed, delivery tracking and your QR scans), so you can judge it on your own results.
When do I pay?
Reserve with a $100 deposit. It holds your category and is credited to your first three months. Once your card has its four sponsors, we tell you it's confirmed to mail and give you the mail date (at least 10 days out), and you pay the balance within 5 days (that's $1,091 for a regular spot or $1,691 for the featured spot). Nothing more is due until then. If your card hasn't filled its first 4 spots within 60 days of your deposit, you can ask for the $100 back, or keep your spot and wait; if you back out otherwise, it isn't refundable. Or pay all three months now; the same 60-day rule applies, and you can ask for your whole prepayment back. Or just ask us first with the free form. Either way, from the fourth month you're billed monthly. There's a 3-month minimum, then you can cancel with 30 days' notice. The full terms are in the Sponsor Agreement.
Will the price go up?
Prices apply to spots booked now. We review pricing after 6 months (April 2027). Your rate is locked for 12 months from signing.
Does sponsoring change my directory listing?
Your listing shows a "Mailer sponsor" label, and that's all. Directory order is never for sale. Sponsors aren't ranked higher, and listings stay free for every business.
Do I have to buy insurance or anything else to sponsor?
No, and it wouldn't get you a better price. Sponsorship is priced on its own and has nothing to do with DANESURE or Dane Suite. Both are run by Danesure, Inc., the company behind Dane Directory. Insurance businesses can't sponsor, because DANESURE holds that category.
